Bilstein Bilstein Bilstein 700 1987

I did the rear spring/shock replacement on our 87 760T only using KYB gas-a-just which are pretty hard. On the 90 740T I also used KYBs but went to Bilsteins in less than 10K. The KYBs lost their rebound damping but were still darn stiff in compression.

Not worth arguing with the supplier for the 'lifetime warranty' on a $25 shock.

The Bilsteins are a lot easier on the butt if not the wallet. Save your receipt for the Bilstein lifetime warranty...you may need it in 60K.
