ATF in radiator/ flushing 200 1990

I noticed ATF in the overflow of the radiator( of my 1990 240 dl auto)

I'm replacing the radiator, I wanted to know what type of ATF to use.

My Bentley book said Dextrol II and the parts shop said Dextrol III(castrol). What is the difference?

I would like to flush the old water/fluid out as opposed to dismantling the transmission. I would like to avoid destroying the transmission.

Any advise or warning wuld help.

phil
