Re: Remote trunk release ... 140-160 74

I have thought about a power trunk release, and I have the door control for both the 240 and 740. However I have not been able to figure a way to modify either one and the trunk release mechanism to make it work.

I have installed power window mechanisms in the rear doors. Motor controls and related assembly taken from a 240. Rear doors are identical(for this purpose anyway) with 140 and 160. Dont try power windows in the front if your car has vent windows; but if you have a one piece front window glass, parts from a 240 will fit. So, while you have the door interior panel out, and you are running wires from the "A" and "B" post into the door, think about power windows.
