Help**Having trouble w/ power steering rack 200 1986

Hi, I am having a difficult time trying to figure out what I am going to do. Here's the situation:

I recently changed my outer tie rod ends and thought that would cure the problem the vehicle shaking...it did somewhat because the outers were in fact loose.

However the problem still remains as the tie rod on the passenger side is still loose and needs replacing. I need to take care of this ASAP as I want my car to be as safe as possible to drive in. Also I have read alot of posts in the archives that state if the inner tie rods are shot, more than likely the steering rack seals have been damaged. Is this true. I have called my local volvo dealer and for a new rack they quoted me well over 650 BUCKS!! I visited IPD and they're rack goes for pretty much the same price (Remember I live in Toronto, Canada and I am exchanging the price into Canadian funds).

Are there any alternatives I can pursue?

Thanks in advance for the help!
