Tranny Shift/RPM 700 91

About a week ago i had the engine rear seal and tranny front seal replaced, this was done for the engine oil leak (148k) on old seal..now i notice that the tranny shift seem longer or maybe its me..1500-2000 is the first shift..3000-3500 is second shift...3600-4000 RPM is the last shift...now if i let off the gas as it near these above RPMs it will shift at that instant. is this the norm or maybe i have a vac leak or what ever... 740T 91 automatic/od....Thanks..O fluid looked ok, but i changed it using drain plug method, about 3 quarts came out and 3 quarts went back in...
