Re: Installation of Boost Controller 700 1989

I have checked most of the intake/vacuum hoses, and AFAIK they are in good shape. I replaced the airbox-to-turbo hose ($117!!!) and the two intercooler hoses as well. My biggest question is on my turbo-- I believe it is a mitsubishi. It says 'VOLVO' all over it, which confuses me, I didn't think Volvo modifiyed the turbos at all... I bought the intake hose to fit a Mitsu turbo, and it fit fine. Well, tight, but fine. It has a metal ring in the middle of the turbo with two big bolts that looks as if it allows the two housings to rotate about the center... It also has a silver round-thing on the top of the housing, is this the internal CBV? There is a vacuum hose going from the nipple on this thing to the intake manifold... can someone tell me which turbo I have? :) Sorry for the stupid questions...

The instructions that came with the dawes device said to attach the silicone hose to the nipple on the wastegate actuator. So I would just put it in line with the wastegate actuator nipple hose and the wastegate? And just to clarify, the wastegate actuator is the silver thing UNDER the turbo (looking down on the engine), not the one on top...

Help? (sorry for my newbie-ness)
