powere antennae 700 1988

740 GLE powere antennae, motor working, lots of dust ib the housing, any suggestion how to clean the dust without causing damage to the motor? The mast is very stuck half way. Do I have to take the mast off, I tried, I weas not able to take it out with the nylon cable which is out of the black casing and I can't put it back. Any one has the instruction, please fax it to me, 1-519-432-9491. I am quite prepared to buy another mast unit if it does not work, but I have trouble taking it out now.
