R134 Conversion 700 1986

Just an update. Three Months ago I recharged or converted by adding. R134 to my Factory Air Conditioning System. It had been completly discharged for over a year. I bought the kit ( two cans of refrigerant, one can of oil and the various valve converters.) at Pep Boys for $39.95. I have used the air every day since and it still blows cold. Over a year ago I did the same thing to an older Mercedes, and that also still blows cold. I might add, that I live in the Mojave Desert.

For $39.95 it is worth a try. By the way the same kit is available at most autoparts stores.
