Got the crankshaft pully bolt off, but.... 700 1985

now I can't get the pully off?? To get the nut off I disconnected and grounded the coil, then put the 1/2" breaker bar with the 24mm socket on the bolt with the handle against the ground (it was long enough, luckily), then turned the engine just barely, but it got it to finger tight so that I could easily remove it. Is there some other step to getting the pully off? I have tried prying it, but maybe I'm not using enough force? I'm not really a mechanic genius or anything. I'm sure there is some trick to it that I am missing. Any help?
