A/C Condensate 200 84

The humid days are causing lots of condensation to form on the plumbing under the glove box to/from the a/c condensor. Drips down onto the passenger side carpet and after a lenghty drive, it will get sopping wet under the rubber floor mat. The elbow'd rubber drain hose from the condensor tray through the floor board works fine; exits the water below the car whenever it is parked, so the drain is not backing up.

There is a rubbery goo/mastic that is applied over some of the plumbing. Do I need more of that to cut down on the condensation? If so what is the product I need?

Thanks, Robert
