Removing in-tank fuel pump 200 84

What's up with this fuel return line?

Bentley's says to remove the fuel lines from the top of the sender unit.

(I hate it when the book doesn't tell you HOW to remove things!)

OK, well the supply line is rubber and I proied that off.

But this return line is solid. Can't be removed from the top of the sender unit.

What do I do? Just loosen it under the car and wiggle things out after rotating the lock ring?

And what is thst third tube for? Mine has a rubber cap over it.

But several posts say there is a fuel vent line to remove?

Where is that? The only other fuel line runs from the car-overturn check valve to who knows where.....

but it is not connnected to the top of the sender.

How to I get this intank mump and sending unit out?
