Gauges Not Working 700 1990

Well, being the ever-bored and ever-inquisitive person that i am, i decided to see if i could take apart the instrument panel to see if i could paint the surrounding part around the gauges. Well, after seeing that i couldn't do that without removing the clear plastic cover, i put it all back together. I ended up with 2 "extra" screws, although theyre from the outside because there are so many different length screws, i must have put some in the wrong holes. Regardless, I plugged all the wiring back in, and turned on the ignition, and guess what, NOTHING HAPPENED. The instrument lights wouldn't come on. Anybody have a clue what i did. Thanks. A Lot.
