I too disagree with your opinion as in reality, although the 700 series cars did suffer from some bad variants like diesels and V6s, their 4 cyl versions (although seemingly quirky in some ways) were good cars compared to what they're now putting out. The new Volvos (like those now made) are cars that no one will want to own once the warranty expires.
