I Got This (New Car) Lovin' Feeling 700 1986

No I didn't buy a new car or even a different car. I replaced the tie rod ends on my old and decrepid 744Ti. It's been clunking a bit and wandering on the road. I had already had the front end completely rebuilt about 1.5 years ago at 230,000 miles, or so. The ball joints were replaced a year ago, under warrantee. So I check prices on the net and bought the ends at a local dealer, along with the rear 965 shocks. It took about an hour and a half to do the job. No real problems. I counted the number of turns for each, funny, 17.5 on one side, 12 on another. What's with that?

Eat your heart out Steve Ringlee! (;=)
