High Mileage Badge...A way to get it without a trip to the dealer 700 89

In response to a previous post about high mile badges....Since I cannot offer repair advice as a novice, I can at least pitch in where I feel safe that I know something (I think). Thanks to all the great people on the board, I'm learning quick and although I'm still not ready to fire up the torch!!! I can pass along places to go or what I have already learned from the "Real Bricksters". I found a Volvo Owners website (can't provide the link cause I'm not a PC WIZ either) but it was pretty easy to find. Try typing in "Volvo Owners Circle" or something like that and you will find a cool site that offers all kinds of Volvo info from the main source (IF you guys already know this I'm sorry). I found this in search of a free owners manuel (they did not have my year, 89, but did offer lots of good stuff). From 90 out you can view "FREE" owners manuels and order them for short $$ & find out other stuff regarding maintenance & what not. Not as informative as the BRICKBOARD but ok for getting factory info and such. NOW FOR THE MAIN TOPIC!! Set up a pasword & login and you can get to the HIGH MILES form through a bit of roaming the site (It's there, trust me!!) It looks to be no cost and a simple online form that requires the Vin # etc to submit. I have 100 miles to go to hit the 200k mark and don't want to jinx the sled before she hits the mark so I'll wait till this weekend to submit for my 200K badge. Hope this helps someone. I've received so much valued input so far on this site, just wanted to contribute somehow. Thanks again guys for your patience & understanding and most important for your knowledge!!!!!!
