Front end clunk 700 1989

89 740 wagon, 223,000 km. The front end has a ridiculous clunk over rough road at slow speeds. It has new strut cartridges, ball joints, cone bushings, tires. The tie rods and bearings seem to be ok. I read something about a spacer for the bottom of the strut tube? Any idea where I get one? The car also make a small clunk when braking on the left side. Please I need help. Mark
