Trans Fush on 960's 900 1995

Talked with the owner of repair shop that claims to "specialize" in Volvos. I inquired about the trans flush as outline in the FAQ's as long as the car was going to be in for AC work.

They said "no!" in terms even I could understand. They indicated that this was a bad thing for the car and that they "never" do it. After trying to reason with them they were firm.

Has anyone ever heard this? Clean fluid makes all the sense in the world to me. I'm thinking maybe another mechanic is the solution. (?)
