Stroker parts?...Driveline vibration... 200 1980

A couple of questions. Is it true that volvo made a marine 2.5 liter that is the same as the b-21/b-23. If so, could I use the internals in my b-21ft to increase the stroke? Anyone else sucessfully stroked their volvo engines?

Next one... My 1980 242 get an awful vibration after shifting into fourth gear. I have already ordered the u-joints and center bushing. I just wanted a little reassurance that I am correct in assuming the driveline is to blame. The engine sounds like a diesel at idle, which is probably from running the engine with lots of water in the oil (looked like chocolate milk when I drained it...). I hope the engine is not cause for vibration, but, oh well....

thanks...
