beginnings of rust on front edge of sunroof opening - not painted there seems to be just primer. 200 1991

have you noticed a lack of paint round the front edge of the sunroof opening (i.e. not the sunroof itself, but the opening)?

i'm going to sand the bit off (its just slight oxidation right now) and i guess lightly prime it and brush with touch up paint.

have you all noticed rust dust (or similar) on the OUTSIDE of the drain hoses you can see in the trunk? the top half of my hoses are rust colored but its just dust on the OUTSIDE? just in case I'm going to check the drains to make sure they're not clogged (err... where exactly do the rear drains come out?)

No water gets in car and the roof liner is in very good shape so i don't think its covered in rust under there...(at least i hope not).

and LASTLY, the sunroof gasket (or material around the edge) is sticking out and looks to be frayed in spots. ... should i buy another and is this a difficult install?
