Look... some moron got a hold of my PHONE number. someone from the board. And proceeded to leave a couple of real nasties on the box, just to let me know that they knew where I lived.
What a happy day that was. But you know what? I stuck around anyway.
Believe me... if you think this is bad, try OPINIONS some day. It gets to be a virtual war zone (albeit with a certain degree of humor). Despite the harrassing (sp?) morons, this can be a good place to be.
And another thing... this joint has seen a great lack of intellect lately. There aren't as many quality contributors as there used to be. I guess maybe some people have gone off to do other things. This is actually the only board that I've actively participated in for three or four years. And actually even more than that as I remember.
What's the difference though. If there wasn't something to be had here, I'd still be participating in the sailing forums or the mountain biking msg. boards. This has just been way better. WHo would've guessed.
And OPINIONS is just a TRIP.
