common faults on 960 900 1992

Can anyone help me? i have recently bought a 92 model 960 24v before i discovered brickboard. And have come to the conclusion that the 960 isnt as good as what it should be. Theres a real lack of info in the UK on the reliability on this model, all dealers claim its the most reliable volvo built but being dealers their bias.Could you please tell me of common mechanical or electrical faults that would compromise the reliabilty of this car. Any help much appriciated.
