AC Compressor Install Problems & Allignment 900 1993

I've just replaced my Sanden AC compressor with a Volvo rebuilt unit on my 960. Everything is great except the pully allignment. After a runs, the drive belts seems to find its center with one edge of the belt on top of the edge of the pulley. It seems that the whole compressor needs to shift about an 1/8 of an inch forward for the belt to center on the puley. However there does not seem to be anyway to shift the location or the skew. The drive belt now show obvious wear marks where the belt is humped over the pulley end.

I transferred the mounting brackets from the old to new in the same position. Do I need to use a couple of washers to ship the thing forward or what. The compressor does look a little bit 5 degress or so skewed in alignemt from the rest of the pulleys.
