Several studies have indicated that deer whistles don't work.

I haven't seen it tried, but wolf urine might work. Or urine from the genetically identical Canis Familiaris. You'd probably have to drive very slowly, though.

Infra-red goggles? Or that IR system that Cadillac has for their octogenarian customers?
