Air Mass Meter part Numbers 700 1983

Can anyone tell me the functional differences in the Bosch Air Mass Meter, (also known as idle control valve). part numbers 0 280 140 500, 0 280 140 516 and 0 280 140 509. The 509 is the cheepest of the bunch, but is there a functional difference in the operation of these meters?
