Oil in Intake - Could this be the end

Last night I found oil in the flexable intake house on my 740. My wife has said the car has been running rough for about two weeks. (Thanks for telling me babe.)

I cleaned out the hose and checked the flame trap. I replaced the Oil trap about 100,000 miles ago. The car is using no detectable oil, and is still running pretty much normaly. After I cleaned all the oil out, it ran great. Possible that the intake house was leaking a little at one of the connections. Does this mean I am close to the end? I did a compression test, and am at 150 on all cylinders, and vacum gauge runs about 18 at idle. Car is still getting great gas milage.

So what do you think? Does this mean I am close to the end?

Could the oil trap be malfunctioning?

Any other suggestions? I had the head redone about 100,000 miles ago as well but otherwise havent' really done anywork to the engine.

Thanks

Peter
