Help! Master Cylinder/Bleeding Problems 700 1989

I put a new master cylinder on yesterday and I did not prime it. I bleed the brakes until all air had been removed. Did I prime the Master Cylinder in the process? Regardless, my brakes are spongy. My bleeding Seq. was LF, RF, LR, RR (closest to furthest), that is if siting in the drivers seat facing forward. Can anyone give me an idea of what I did wrong and how to proceed from here.

Thanks,

Rick
