Re: Dependability of 960 auto wagon S90-V90 1998

I have a V90 -98 53000 miles on the clock

Never had a problem, gives me 18 mpg city - and 25 mpg highway with present speed limits 75 mph max.

Had the front brake pads replaced at 47000 miles.

Other maintenance according to schedule and only syntetic oils in engine and tranny.

Added extra oilcooler for the tranny as we tow our 3500 lb caravan (camping trailer?) a lot. We went to Spain last summer 3915 miles at average of 18.08 mpg, better than any 4 cyl. B230 I ever had.

We love it.
