Re: Headliner clean/paint/dye, Replace? 700 1990

What I do is take a trip to the fabric store, look through the remnants of bolts that have been cut. Usually you can find a good discounted bolt with plenty of material left for you project.

I take down the headliner and carefully seperate the fabric from the foam backing. Then I spray some 3M #90 High Strength Spray Adhesive into the backing and lay the new fabric down, gently easing out any wrinkles or bubbles. Trim with a fresh razor blade.

When done you end up with a clean/new headliner, in a fabric and color of your choosing. It is always a better quality than what the factory put it originally.

Total cost? About $15.00 and part of an afternoon.
