Is the clutch kit for the M47 the same as the m46? 700 91

I have a clutch kit labeled for the m47. The parts guys I bought it from say its the right one for the m46. Whats the deal? (I'm suspicious because he was baffled by the fact I had an m46 in my 91)...

I don't want to have my car apart and have to wait to send back the kit...
