Purchase opinions 200 80's

Hi,

As a wannabe returning 240 owner, I need some assistance. We aere looking to replace our '91 Explorer with a 240 wagon, has to be manual, decent body, etc. I looked at an 88 wagon with 170k, good body, great interior, 4 mounted snows, 4 recent Michelins on, a crease about a foot long along the passenger's side, no rust on that area, and some chips taken out of the passenger rear wheel well. Some beginning rust at the corners of the doors and back deck lid. He is asking $3000, may take $2500. Thoughts on this? Anyone know of one better for sale in NE ( I'm in NH). We are also going on vacation till mid July so any action will have to wait.

Thanks for any help!

Mike - needing that 240 fix!
