Hot Start Problem 900 1993

My '93 940 Turbo Wagon has a starting problem in very hot weather. If I try to start it when it's only been off for a few minutes, the starter turns, but there is no engagement at all. If I wait a few more minutes, usually about 5, it will start fine. The problem only occurs when the outdoor temperature is at least 90 degrees.

Someone mentioned something about the "Power Stage" being insufficiently protected from the heat generated by the turbo engine, but I have no idea what he was talking about.

Any suggestions?
