I personally do not like the jiggle test. The car may have more than normal vibration at idle due to worn motor mounts or other factors. Apparently there are plastic and metal caps and I am not sure which ones work for the test. I think a better way is to start car and apply your palm over the oil filler to seal the opening You should feel the slight vacume build up over a few seconds. You will also feel the air entering as you slowly remove your hand breaking the vacume. Of course do this before the engine gets too warm.
