another seating question. retro-fit from later model to early model 240? 200 79

I'm not adventurous enough to attempt fitting 7 series seats into my 245 but I'm wondering, since I have a 1979, 245, will much later model seating fit with out modification? I would like much newer leather seating and a rear seat with head restraints. For now, having only had the car for less than a month, I don't want to get into anything but simple swapping, I have too much body and engine work to do before I pay too much attention to the interior.
