car wont start :-( 200 1991

Wednesday i came out from the supermarket and my volvo would not start, i called a tow truck, the guy came out, and to my dismay, it was not just a dead battery, the car was not getting spark for some reason. i had the car brought home, and called my mechanic, unfortunatly he is on vacation for the next 3 weeks. so, i had it towed to the local garage, they replaced:

-engine coil

-control modual

-crank sensor

about 600 dollars in parts, still no spark, they called 3 import dealerships, all of them said thats exactly what they would have done, and had no idea why the car would not have spark. if i cant find the problem myself in the next few days, i will have the car towed to a volvo dealer and pay way too much for what i think/ hope, is some stupid little problem. again, the car turns over freely, 130k miles, has always run great, but, will not spark. PLEASE HELP!!
