hey,
today's project was finally installing the HKS EVC EZ boost controller in my '87 745Ti with the Garret turbo. The installation took about 3 hours and then came testing time. With the unit attached the boost went off the charts and the cutoof switch set to 13.5 psi kicked in and shut down the fuel. The power on the unit is turned all the way down and it still does this. This isn't working correctly and i can't go full troatle without the cutoff kicking in. Has anyone installed this unit before or know where I can get some tech help with this from someone who has put it on a volvo before. HKS has the shitty website and there is no email address for them. The instruction manual is in F'n Japanesse. I'm callin out to all my fellow volvo drivers for some help on this. Can anyone help me out?
