Can I advance my odometer? 200 1987

I got my first Volvo last week, an 87 245 with the 5 speed, and I'm in love already. It's got a couple of problems, though, one of which is that the odometer was replaced around 155,000. So, the reading now is obviously way too low. Is there any way to advance the new odometer that many miles without damaging it? I think I'll keep this one for a long time and would love for it to show its true age.

Thanks in advance for any responses.
