1991 vs. 1992 power window regulator mismatch. any suggestions? 700 1992

I have a '92 740. I live in Louisiana. I was at a Volvo wrecking yard in Florida and pulled a drivers side power window regulator from a 1991 740 Turbo. The window regulator in my car has ball ends that press into plastic sockets that ride along the bottom window channel. The end of the arm that fits into the inside door panel channel has a plastic wheel that rides along the inside.

The regulator i pulled has cylindrical ends at all three points that are supposed to fasten into the three channels with metal clippy things. Obviously they are incompatable.

I can't see driving 700 miles back to Florida to get the rest of the stuff I need, and I can't switch the ends of the two regulators as they seem to be pressed in. Any suggestions -- or does anyone want to trade regulators with some $$$ thrown in?
