Stalls while driving...please help... 1987

I have a 240, and it has a horrible stalling problem. When I drive after about 10 minutes the engine will just cut out. After this happens it WILL NOT start for at least a minute, sometimes up to 15 minutes! And once it starts sometimes it will just die again about a minute or two later. This goes on and on...

I have taken it to a volvo shop and he changed the spark plugs and can't fix it. If anybody has had a problem similar to this and got it fixed, please help, or if you have any ideas. Last time I told them mechanics about the problem they said they couldn't get it to stall on them. I don't know if they even test drove it or not, but if I just knew what was wrong (I've had suggestions of the fuel pump and coils) then I could just tell them what to do. Thanks for any help, thanks a lot! I don't want to have to buy a new car.
