Spindle Nut Tightening Procedures 700 1986

I just replaced the ball joints on my 740 and recently the tie rod ends. I did this after noticing the car wanders on highway irregularities. I used to have the one piece hub and rotor but upgraded to the two piece versions. What are the proper spindle nut tightening procedures for this car now. My green manuals have them from my older version, which is to tighten and release so the cotter pin keeper aligns with the spindle hole.

I just want to make sure the hub/rotors are properly tightened. Yes I looked in the 700/900 FAQ.

TIA, wb

I also need brake pads and I could use an alignment and the tires are cupped in the middle, 205/55-HR 15. Comp/TA's.
