Hello.
I have recently purchased a 86 760 Turbo Wagon with 211000 on it. Ok car, and loaded with problems.
I have resolved the inop/intermitant power drivers seat by resoldering the bottom of the switch board. Rewired the dome light so it works when the drivers door opens. Replaced the the frozen AC compressor (mechanic did) but now it leaks oil everywhere. Repaired multiple cracked/missing insulation on underhood wireing... I am working on attaching the interior roof linning to the roof........
Anyway... My present cofusion is the wiring diagram in my Haynes book. It shows that the Cruise control and the ACC are wired to a vacum motor under the hood... This motor seems to be the same one, yet the wireing matches the diagram of the ACC. Yet the Vacum setup connect that same Vacum pump to the Cruise... Anyway, the pump does not seem to be working... Is there a place I can get an accurate description of how these two systems interlink? How the vacum lines are supposed to be hooked up? Cus not only does the cruise not work... I have that anoying problem with the dash vents shutting off on acceleration... hmmm
Thank you
