? installing inline tranny filter ALL ALL

hate to expose my ignorance, but would appreciate any suggestions and warnings re installing the inline filters for AT and PS I just got from IPD for the wife's 965 and my S70. Instructions on box start off with "install the filter", which unfortunately presumes more knowlege than I have at this point. PS lines do not appear as daunting as the AT, since the PS is hose, and the AT is metal. But I haven't the foggiest which way the flow go. Also would appreciate a current site address for getting the green books on either or both cars!
