Airbox modification 200 88

painted my airbox for fun the other day, took out the entire assembly which selects hot and cold air, it was stuck on hot, and living in south florida i cant see any benefits to keeping it...

i havent noticed any power gain, which i wouldnt expect to, but i was wondering if i should cut the snorkel in front of the radiator down, or angled it forward, maybe even a little airscoop?

would this give me an extra 1 horse? also, is this common? or even sometimes done? i dont want to do it for absolutely no reason, but if anyone thinks itll help the engine breathe easier i might as well, thanks everyone!
