got it in... 200 '86

I've posted higher up about this so this is redundant but thanks for the encouragement.

even had the luxury of having a mechanic check my work... with note that he found a loose nut on the fan hub... so my skills aren't professional yet that's for sure. I was rained out from working anyway and was able to get a slot in his bay easier than usual... Round here, mechanics are booked usually a week in advance, even for oil changes. And you've got to leave your car all day!! and not on weekends. so some do-it-yourself skills are in order.

Next on my agenda: seal seals of windows, get O/D to work, patch up a little rust below rear rust hole under hatch, attempt to save heating elements in seats (not working), new coil springs in back, new snowtires,

and a visit to the dentist... sometimes body maintance is necessary on the nonfossil fueled part of the economy.

still the worse part of the waterpump was getting the seal on top to compress enough to allow longer screws, not nuts, to engage block esp. top right screw hole. wooden pry stick as pictured in the Hayne's guide was useful.
