Re: sond light? 200 82

Big al,

Time to replace the oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold. But first, go to walmart and buy a penetrating oil called p'blaster in the automotive dept. soak it down good and wait awhile. I pulled threads out of the exhaust manifold recently. As old as your car is, it's probably stuck good. I learned of this penetrant on the brickboard. As for if the new sensor will make the light automatically go out, I am not sure. Also, go to auto zone and buy the "bosch universal" ox. sensor and save yourself about 50.00 dollars. The only difference is that you have to cut the wire off your old sensor and splice it on to the new one. The price is 18.00 As opposed to 65.00to 70.00.
