Electrical Shorts 200 1988

I recently posted a message and received no less than five very helpful responses to my brake light problem, which I was able to repair for less than $5.00 in wiring. Mucho thanks for helping my '88 240DL!!

The next dilema is more complicated. My low beams flickered and went out this evening(in the dark!!)while on the freeway. I put the high beams on and drove home safely. Later, I started the car and my stereo, power antenae, high beams and dome light were not working. I stopped the engine and re-started three times before the stereo, power antenae, high beams and dome light worked. Is the ignition switch the culprit??

Any direction is much appreciated
