You ever notice how the oil filter... 200 1987

never gets changed when you go spend $15-20 for a oil & filter change?

I never noticed this until I actually decided to start doing this myself. I realized that the small white round thing with the dent in it that I had noticed since I bought the car was the oil filter. This annoyed me because I have paid for quite a few oil and filter changes since I purchased the car. Yep, they never put a new one in at all the places I went to ( Meinike, midas, etc ). Maybe it's because the thing is a little harder to get to than other makes? Maybe they don't like getting their precious hands burned by the exhaust header? Dunno.

If you prefer to get your oil changed by others, make sure they change the filter.
