im thinking v-8 again! = opinions only please :) 200 88

my car... so slow... i am not a speed demon, but my car, is so slow... i do not wish to take on any other cars... but my car, is so slow, once, i even stalled b/c the a/c compressor was too much strain on the engine, i had to raise my idle from 350 to nearly 1000 to keep this from happening again... i dont have ALOT of money, but my car, is so slow... my B230F is in perfect working order according to a "part time" mechanic, and everything seems well in order, but still, she is... so slow...

One thing though, this thing is RELIABLE, now if i get a 302 ford, how reliable will it be? i plan on a mechanic doing it, ofcourse, properly done, but does anyone here have experience with 302 fords? or better yet 5.0's in volvos?! do they really mix well? i see more volvos with v-8's than volvo motors, so i assume they work well, but will i get "turn the key and drive" reliability with the 302? will the 302 take me another 100,000 miles? i do plan on treating it well ofcourse!

thanks for your time gentlemen!
