Can an '88 Ignition Control Unit Be Tested? ALL 1988

Does anyone know the way to test the ignition control unit/ amplifier in an '88 240 b230f?

The cars symptoms are - no start.

It has injector pulse,

""""""" power at the coil,

""""""" fuel,

but NO SPARK AT THE PLUGS.

The control unit is attached to the windscreen wiper reservoir located behind the right headlight. The markings on the unit are-1357308 USA.

It has a vacuum line attached at its base and has a 10 pin connector.

Any thoughts please.

Take care,

John H from DOWNUNDER
