Thanks for the advice, I'm absolutely positive you hit the nail on the head there but I ran into another problem. I loosened the bracket on the distributor but it won't budge. I did the same on my parts car and it turns very easily. I'm thinking I'd like to replace the distributor completely since the parts car piece looks to be in much beter shape but I can't get the original out. I've let the stuck one soak with WD40 overnight but I'm wondering if I can give it a good rap to loosen it. Wil that disturb anything?
