O2 sensor? 900 94

Seeking reassurance for my first real forray into the debugging of FI trouble:

My dual-fuel (gas and propane) runs fine on propane, but terrible on gas. Stumbling, lousy idle, lack of power, backfiring. The ignition doesn't give fault codes, so that combined with proper running on propane suggests that the problem is confined to the FI system.

the FI gives errorcodes 212, 231 and 232 (O2 sensor faulty/missing, mixture rich/lean idle, mixture rich/lean part load). Should I consider this a good indicator that my O2 sensor is overdue for replacement, or is this a red herring and should I look elsewhere?

Bram
